Lost Earring

Maggie lost an antique gold and opal earring when she was a young girl. After years of holding on to the match and wondering what to do with the single beauty, we talked re-design. It was simple, no need for melting or taking things apart. I thought best to work with the integrity of the jewel, simply turning the solo earring into a pendant and stringing it on a delicate gold chain. A special occasion piece or a daily sentimental favourite.
